In 2017, the largest mobile operator in Bulgaria – Mtel, decided to make a special sports channel for its customers. Based on the good response to the success of the Diema Sports Channels, Techno was assigned to build and maintain the entire TV set associated with the new programs.
The task was to build a complete TV broadcasting complex consisting of a satellite reception with 8 – 2.4 meters antennas, reserved optical connections to the largest telecommunication operators in Bulgaria and reception based on ATEME IRD, 8 channel Ingest, central disk array, Flow MAM and Edit Share, BroadStream based PlayStation, Nevion central router and adjacent modular system. Glensound commentator positions with full Audio Over IP infrastructure, including products – Lawo V__pro8 modules and SSL MADI to Dante converters, with an Adobe based installation system.
Techno also provided a studio studio complex with robotic cameras, a virtual studio for the full functionality of the 3 MTel TV Channels.
Again, the audio system wass entirely IP-based with Lawo and Sennheiser. The Desisti lighting system also contributed for the high quality footage the studio complex has been producing.
The complete solution was designed, built and put into operation in Techno’s own building.
The whole project was executed flawlessly for an extremely short period (1 month) period due to the fact that the broadcast of the first channel had to start with already paid exact dates and rights from our client Mtel.
With its realization, Techno once again proved to be a reliable partner, no matter the conditions.
